It seems that when I need to work then I do exactly that. Very little seems to get in my way as I put needle to thread. Good for projects although the family seems to feel a little neglected after awhile.
Both of these projects are for the Wild Rose Quilt Shop and Retreat.
The next is a Binder Cover. Please excuse the photos. Yes, they are bad but after dark it is horrible taking photos at my house!!
I used the Vine Creek layer cake from Moda. I’m not exactly partial to the dark colors but it turned out really nice. I’ll adjust the measurements for different size binders and will find another, brighter, layer cake to use.
Here’s the inside:
On the left flap of the binder cover there is a pocket. I stitched a section to hold a pencil or pen. Isn’t it always the case that you find yourself awkwardly holding a pen or pencil when you’ve got a binder?? Also, the smaller compartment is good for name badges, small leaflets and notebooks.
This was an easy project!!
